CD213

and the most common subtypes like CD213a1, CD231a2 and CD213+

CD213a1 - Cluster of differentiation 213a1

CD213a1 Gene ID 3597
CD213a1 Official Full Name interleukin 13 receptor subunit alpha 1
CD213a1 Alias IL-13-R α1, IL13RA1
CD213a1 Cellular Expression B; Dendritic; Endothelial; Macrophage; monocytes
CD213a1 Ligand/Receptor/Association IL-13
CD213a1 Function Forms part of the receptor complexes for IL13 and IL4
CD213a1 Summary The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the interleukin 13 receptor. This subunit forms a receptor complex with IL4 receptor alpha, a subunit shared by IL13 and IL4 receptors. This subunit serves as a primary IL13-binding subunit of the IL13 receptor, and may also be a component of IL4 receptors. This protein has been shown to bind tyrosine kinase TYK2, and thus may mediate the signaling processes that lead to the activation of JAK1, STAT3 and STAT6 induced by IL13 and IL4. CD213a2 - Cluster of differentiation 213a1

CD213a2 Gene ID 3598
CD213a2 Official Full Name interleukin 13 receptor subunit alpha 2
CD213a2 Alias IL-13-R α2, IL13RA2
CD213a2 Cellular Expression B; Epithelial; Macrophage; monocytes
CD213a2 Ligand/Receptor/Association IL-13, HSV
CD213a2 Function Forms part of the receptor complex for IL13.
CD213a2 Summary The protein encoded by this gene is closely related to Il13RA1, a subuint of the interleukin 13 receptor complex. This protein binds IL13 with high affinity, but lacks cytoplasmic domain, and does not appear to function as a signal mediator. It is reported to play a role in the internalization of IL13.
