GABA conjugate
Brand
Cell Sciences
Description
GABA (phi-labeled anti-biotin antibodies) is used as secondary reagent in the ELISPOT procedure performed on polystyrene- or PVDF membrane-bottomed plates. GABA should be used in conjunction with Activator I and II resulting in a microscopally black and visually yellow/brown spot.
Formulation
Lyophilized product, sufficient for 480 ELISPOT determinations. Buffer prior to lyophilization:
0.5 ml PBS + 125 mM trehalose + 1% BSA. Preservative free.
Storage and Stability
The lyophilized GABA conjugate can be safely stored at 4C for a defined length of time (expiration date indicated on vial). After reconstitution, the reagent is stable for at least 6 months at 4C when kept sterile. However, it is strongly recommended to divide the reconstituted GABA preparation into small aliquots for single use. These aliquots should be stored at <= -20C. Under these conditions the reagent is stable for minimal one year.
