The average concentration of Mouse IL16 in 10 normal mouse serum is 1230.27 +/- 288.92 pg/mL ranging from 834.89 to 1618.19 pg/mL. Mouse splenocytes (10E6 cells/mL) were cultured in RPMI supplemented with 5% fetal bovine serum and stimulated with 5 µg/mL LPS. Aliquots of the cell culture supernates were removed on days 3 and assayed for levels of natural mouse IL16, and measured 3395.12 pg/mL.

Cross Reaction

This assay recognizes both recombinant and natural Mouse IL16. The factors listed below were prepared at 50 ng/mL in dilution buffer and assayed for cross-reactivity. No cross-reactivity was observed.Cross-reactivity was observed to be 0.46% with 50 ng/mL of recombinant human IL16.
