The average concentration of Human TIMP1 in 10 normal human serum is 131.79 +/- 28.86 ng/mL ranging from 87.24 to 172.97 ng/mL and in 5 normal salvia is 363.10 +/- 131.44 ng/mL ranging from 239.42 to 550.67 ng/mL.

Cross Reaction

This assay recognizes both recombinant and natural Human TIMP1. The factors listed below were prepared at 50 ng/mL in dilution buffer and assayed for cross-reactivity. No cross-reactivity was observed. Cross-reactivity was observed to be 0.086% with 50 ng/mL of recombinant human MMP9.
