For the quantitative determination of Human Junctional Adhesion Molecule A / JAM-A concentration in serum, cell culture supernates, and cell lysate.
The average concentration of JAM-A in 8 normal human serum is 2.85+/ǂ.33 ng/mL ranging from 2.38 to 3.29 ng/mL. The concentration of Human JAM-A detected in a Hela cell lysate was 918.01 pg/mL.The Hela cell lysate' total protein concentration was about 9.3 mg/mL . HepG2 cells (0.2 x 10E5 cells/mL) were cultured 3 days. An aliquot of the cell culture supernate was removed, assayed for levels of natural JAM-A, and measured 265.01 pg/mL.
This assay recognizes both recombinant and natural Human JAM-A.
